What’s Happening Around the Region

To Elders past, present and future, and on whose land we meet for worship, and to witness and serve, we pay our respects. We acknowledge that this land was never ceded, and in fact was stolen from first peoples. Not only the land, but food, culture, lore, people, dignity, sexual relations, life, bodies, body parts, and artefacts. We acknowledge that truth telling is part of the pathway to reconciliation. In Christ we seek restoration, re-creation and right relationships with God and all God’s peoples.

We had a great day representing Jiggi Uniting Church at the Jiggi Community Fair. Lots of new friends, some great ideas, sold a bunch of Teddies, Church Mice and Red Dove cookies and we look forward to seeing quite a few new folks and families keen to join our monthly services soon. We would also like to send a big shout-out Thank You!! to Pat Fields for generously (and bravely!) lendng us his whizz bang computer, to Deb Nicholls for inviting us to participate and to Chrissy and Patricia from Red Cross Geebung who very kindly helped boost our Teddy population. Blessings to you all![]()
